The 4th of September 2018 saw the release of their third
album, “Bring in the New” (Brutture Moderne / Audioglobe), preceded by the single “The walls of the shy” on the 13th of July.
Their collaboration with Nicola Peruch is further consolidated by his ongoing presence on the albums, leading to him to co-produce “Bring in the New”. Nicola since has become a relatively stable member of the band during the live performances, therefore often stretching the
SAVANA FUNK trio into a quartet.

The third album, crafted specially for the vinyl format and the first album officially under the name SAVANA FUNK, allows for the band to open further their musical horizons and sonic scope, in great part due to the omnipresence and deeper involvement of Nicola. Precious contributions to this third release have been given by the following: Chris Costa,
Don Antonio e Danilo Mineo, and the mastering process courtesy of Giovanni Versari.
This third album by Savana Funk has received many positive reviews by critics and audiences alike. A mixture of African music, funk, blues, psychedelic rock and jazz influences runs throughout their original repertoire.

The band is relentlessly on the road, taking part in many
festivals and music programs. Seeing them live remains the best way to appreciate their essence. In the summer of 2019 SAVANA FUNK were invited to perform numerous
times at the Jova Beach Party, the summer concerts held by internationally acclaimed Italian artist Jovanotti, where
the band played to audiences of close to 50,000 people and improvised long jams with Jovanotti onstage live.
In the winter months of 2019 they were called upon twice as the core band of the prestigious program Propaganda Live, performing live to millions of viewers worldwide on Channel 7 TV (La7).
